Domain, Realm, or Cell?
Domain, Realm, or Cell?

Every authentication authority reigns over a certain amount of protected resources located on machines that are part of the authentication authority's kingdom.

In NT terminology, such a kingdom is referred as DOMAIN;

In Kerberos terminology, such a kingdom is referred as REALM;

In DCE terminology, such a kingdom is referred as CELL.
