If you have not been watching this one, you should tune in for tonight’s game 6 in Houston as the Lakers try and close this one out. What has been most interesting is reading online what fans are saying about the series. Before it started, no one gave the Rockets any shot at all of winning the series, much less winning one in Los Angeles. If you thought the previous game was a blowout, all you need do was to watch this one to realize that things weren’t’ that bad for the Lakers. And man have Laker fans let Rocket fans hear it.
Read any comment section on the series and you can easily see that a how fiercely these fans defend their team. I have always been a homer and pulled extremely hard for my guys. What saddens me is that you don’t see any good sportsmanship when it comes to these two teams fans. Rarely does someone complement the other team for playing a great game. The comments are always loaded with excuses and profanity aimed at the other team and their fans. Maybe it’s just the times we are in and the nature of being able to voice your opinion anonymously on the internet.
