Fellow Examiner.com writer, Michelle M. Birkenstock, is now the author of the children's book, "Harry the Caterpillar." Ms. Birkenstock will be at the Barnes & Noble in Newburgh, NY on Thursday, March 25th, 2010 from 5PM to 9PM as part of the store's "New Writers Night." Fans are encouraged to bring their copy of "Harry the Caterpillar" to the event for Michelle to sign. This is a great opportunity for parents and children to meet a local author and learn how she was able to turn her dream of becoming a writer into reality.
The trick is to think about Mom and try to find what it is that they deprive themselves of and give it to them. We Moms tend to put ourselves last. When we want a new purse or need to get a manicure, we take the car to the car wash and pick up the dry cleaning instead. When we need to get our hair done and continue to wear the same ratty sweats, we pick up the kids some new clothes and get the dog groomed. You get the point.

In the '90s, one's porma wouldn't be complete without a stylish pager. Whether it was legit or just for show, my friends and I wanted one clipped to our belts or pockets. My parents wouldn't buy me a cellphone for two main reasons: they were too expensive and baka ma-clone.
Jumping Beans for girls have some really cute styles and I found them at Kohl's. Kohl's is new to Lodi, CA. and we locals could not be happier. I found all these cute styles at Kohl's with lots of sizes still available.
