And the Chinese giant is working on a successor to its popular fitness band, what will most likely be called the Mi Band 5.
Last year, Xiaomi launched what turned out to be one of the best fitness trackers ever, Mi Band 4. A product that failed to captivate many users, to the fact that within a few hours from the moment of launch it managed to write a "full house" three official sales channels: Mixed Online, Amazon, Italy and m-video.
Now, the Chinese giant is working on a successor to its popular fitness wearable device, what will most likely be called the Mi Band 5. In the past few hours, they have leaked numerous information on the web for a new wearable, some of which have sprung directly from graphic resources that are inside the APK file of the I Wear app, the platform that is responsible for managing and using the Mi Band.

The renderings show that the product is very similar to the current Mi Band 4 and that it does not present any special features in terms of design. And gave perhaps the most interesting is the alleged Amazon Alexa support. One of the renders of the Xiaomi Mi Band 5, in fact, shows a blue circle in the center of the device display. This isn't the first time you've heard about the likely integration with Amazon Alexa, and it would be a very worthy alternative to XiaoAI, Xiaomi's virtual assistant, which is unfortunately only available for the Chinese market.
According to the leaked Web, Amazon Alexa should be globally available and allow you to interact with the fitness group in some way. It is not yet clear how, from the moment when you do not expect that I Group 5 is equipped with a speaker, but may instead turn on the microphone.
