The Buffalo Sabres and New York Rangers took it outside to play in the 2018 Bridgestone NHL Winter Classic at Citi Field on Monday. Sabres forward Jason Pominville, who played for Buffalo in the first Winter Classic on Jan. 1, 2008, agreed to be a guest blogger for NHL.com Vince Wilfork Jersey Womens to write about his Winter Classic experience.

NEW YORK -- It's amazing how much bigger the event known as the Winter Classic has become in 10 years.Back on Jan. 1, 2008, I was fortunate enough to have taken part in the first such event. It was an amazing experience, one that I'll never forget. The snow. The fans. The spectacle. It all made it special.The only disappointing aspect to that day: We lost 2-1 in a shootout to the Pittsburgh Penguins.
