Hockey truly was for everyone at the 2018 Bridgestone NHL Winter Classic at Citi Field on Monday.
Prior to the game between the New York Rangers and Buffalo Sabres at the home of the New York Mets, girls ages 8 and under from Ice Hockey in Harlem, a Hockey Is For Everyone program, scrimmaged on an auxiliary rink adjacent to the big sheet of ice.The Ice Hockey in Harlem girls were joined by girls from New Rochelle Lightning and Westchester Emmitt Smith Youth Jersey Hockey.
